Today is small kinki kids' fan gathering time. We were craving for some desserts. So we went and go to this bistro and bar that has made me curious when i went pass it last time.

The cake is such a beauty that it entice us to go in and try. Each of us choose one cake from the display and i found out when we got in they also had another intriguing desserts. I've been watching some chocolate melted ball on the internet and when i saw chocolate ball on neighbouring table, i thought it was the same. So i just had to order that too. That's 2 desserts in one sitting. Way to go to ruin the diet XD

I choose the most chocolate of them all, the rocher monaco, which is chocolate mouse tart garnish with coco pops. It taste like ferrero rocher chocolate mousse tart XD i really love it, the perfect combination of bitter chocolate with hazelnut sauce on top of tart crust. Perfectly blend in.
While Kazzchan choose stracciatella cheese, the one that looks like a yellow dome XD the taste is sweet with a hint of sour passion fruit and a crunchy tart crust on the bottom to balance the mixture of the salty and sour.
But my favourite would be Birulangit's choice, the gateau fromage. Traditional cheesecake with cookies cream with nutty crust on the bottom. It taste so rich and very cheesy but not overly overpowering. It's mu fav and i don't really eat cheesecake XD now that saying something.

While the bombe chocolate was somehow a bit let down for me. The tiramisu in it is exquisite though. Nice sponge cake drizzled generously with coffee liquor and top with coffee mousse. It's my perfect type of tiramisu for me but the chocolate, that was used as the shell, a little bit let down. They use dark chocolate but the butter that they use is a little too much for my liking. I didn't like greasy buttery chocolate, so i didn't finish them.

The place is crowded and quite cosy. But too bad that they located the smoking area on the front while the aircon blowing to the back of the room, and with no separation between the area, there's barely non smoking area. You still can smell the smoke wandering near you in the non-smoking area.

Pricing is definitely on the high end as you can see from part of the menu here. But the cake that they displayed cost around 30-50, i think that's and alright price considering it does taste great. Of course i will be back for them XD just no as frequently as i would like XD
