Birthday lunch feast

Since yesterday was my bro's birthday, we went out to have birthday lunch. And we heard nice things about this restaurant, 'The Playground' in Plaza Indonesia, so we decided to take our family and give this place a try.

Basically i love everything that they have to offer. The food, the presentation, the creativity and the furniture XD just that it was expensive but i thought it worth the money spend.

But above all i love their presentation. Pleasing on the eye really. I went snap crazy when the food arrive (hence the photo frenzy on this entry XD)

Mushroom chowder


Rib eye steak. I love how they pressented the salad tied together with tomato ring them together in one place. Little bit hard to eat but i love they way i dissect them XD


Red cheddar dory. This was my meal, the dory was tender, the sauce goes together perfectly and under the fish you'll get a spinach and tomato. Suprises on a meal ;)


The pop corn chicken. Don't let the appearance fooled you. The chicken is only on the top, below was iceberg lettuce. I'd say this one is rather misleading. I was expecting a large bowl of popcorn chicken but instead i found a bowl of iceberg lettuce without any dressing D:

And the bill came at you like this XD open the book and you'll find a hole in your wallet XD

Price ranging between 25-200k. The downside of this was actually how it located in Plaza Indonesia. Not exactly a closed room, there's a public alley in the middle of it so everyone can walk through to get to another restaurant, so it's not actually private place to say. Though the swings seat and the go round table is something fun to sit on XD unleashed that inner child of yours!
