Scatter-Brain

Been quite a while i want to visit this place since i learn about their quirky name. Dialogue can also be read as Dia (he/she), Lo (you), Gue (me) in jakarta slang. Genius! And finally i got a reason to go there XD my cousin asked me to buy a radio made of wood for her. And the sell it in this store. So i drove way to Kemang.

I met up with 'birulangit' a friend of mine who live in Kemang area to have lunch there as well. The place is a bit hard to spot at first because they are close to the corner and their sign is on the side wall, they didn't have high billboards and a little bit hidden. I almost miss it but i manage to notice their sign right on XD. And their entrance door is a bit tricky. They are located on the left side of the building, almost seems like house door because it made of wood without glasses, i thought it was wood wall XD

So i manage to get in, swoon by the goods that they sell and almost scream here and there before i manage to find the radio right in the middle, paid them and head inside to find this huge place. Not many seat, and more accommodate for the art space. And the green open room at the back. It was raining so it's a bit cool and relaxing on the back.

They serve all day breakfast so of course that's what i ordered. With hot chocolate to complete my breakfast. While birulangit ordered fish and chips with lemon tea. They really came in big size although the size is so so. My scrambled egg need more salt and my bacon need to be more crunchy but my chicken sausage was tender and they use a good butter. While birulangit fish and chips... I thought they ought to serve sauce with it and of course salad dressing to accompany them. I ended up asking for sauce and they came in tiny saucer XD i love ketchup and chilly sauce... So of course i need much more sauce XD

The lemon tea is genuinely lemon and tea, that's a plus. But the hot chocolate remind me of some chocolate milk brand, which is too sweet for me. I prefer dark chocolate and this one is nor for me.

The price range for food is somewhere between 25-60k with drinks from 15-40k. I think they are quite alright. Pretty decent compared with the quantity.

But i really fell in love with the place. I would love to go there and do my work there. I would probably go there often if it was somewhere near my home. Too bad they are far away. I love to go there again though, just for the art and the cozy place (not the chair though, mind you XD)

When we dine there i did notice in glance that they're closing around 6, i assume they got private event on the night and we did told that last order is at 4.30 pm. So do take note or call them if you plan to go there. And of course do take a look on their shop too before looking at the art XD (they are at the front so of course you won't miss them XD)
