Went out food hunting with pisuko-chan as usual XD we're going to plaza senayan because I have to go the computer expo. Actually I wanted to go to TWG but I don't want to have lunch there so we looked for other restaurant and we ended up in Katsura.

They are actually specializing in shabu-shabu, teppanyaki and sukiyaki but we went it because they have this washoku set for lunch. 

The place is interesting! It feels like we went through a maze inside there. They got a lot of private rooms, and all the tables inside are divided by retractable curtains. So each parts have a table for 4 seat. Pretty private. I guess it would be perfect for lunch meeting. Really feel different from other restaurants. So since I was still in ny curry mood, i ordered mini chicken katsu curry with udon set while pisuko got mini sanma set with udon. And we both got hot ocha for the our drinks.

We wait for quite a while and the food didn't come at the same time. One of the waiter was having a bad day i assumed, He wasn't rude but just pretty grumpy. When the food came we were pretty famished since i didn't have any breakfast except for some cookies and it was well past noon. So we quickly ate them. I love their food! The curry was on the spicy side, not to thick but have quite strong flavour. The chicken katsu was in small bite size, 4 bite size but the gave the sauce quite generous. While the udon was light salty, the udon was, i think it might be, buckwheat slim udon. So i feel like eating soba instead of udon. The chawan mushi was so silky i was so impressed with it, it have ebi,chicken, mushroom and naruto in it. There's also potato salad, this one was dismissable. I thought with the name mini, they came in small size... They are small but 2 small make a large serving so i was pretty bloated when i finished. Pisuko's sanma teriyaki was also has a strong flavour. The sanma taste a bit fishy, soaked with teriyaki sauce on top of a large servings of onion and nori on rice. Pretty enjoyable feast too. It's just too bad that they don't serve candy at the end of our meal, because really the onion did leave quite an aftertaste  in our mouth. Maybe we should have ordered desserts... But they closed at 4.30 pm to prepare for dinner. And we barely finish eating when they asked us for last order.

The pricing is pretty expensive for this one. Our sets is 88k, the sets range from70-250k. And ocha is 18k refillable they do serve for alcohol. The service was pretty good, very private area too. A good place to have a private lunch meeting for work or just relax with special someone without disturbance. They got plenty of VIP area too. They're located a little bit secluded on the 4th floor, i think it's easy to miss them, but if you keep searching you'll find them at the back, right beside rempah-rempah. Just go straight to the back, when you enter the extension building from the food court area.

All in all, it's enjoyable for me, i really like their dish. Pisuko chan agree that it was good but just not extraordinarily good. Well i would like to try other dish next time XD
